The Dimming of the Light

As you read—listen to "Dreams 3 (in the midst of my life)"

by—Max Richter, Ben Russell, Yuki Numata Resnick

Light a candle—for the night approaches quickly

As the daylight willingly retreats

Winter creeps through every crack and crevice uninvited

Chilling straight to the bone

Hurry now—make a wish

For winter brings a biting clarity—only reserved for the cold

Prepare firewood and put the kettle on

Armor yourselves with blankets and Winter coats

For we will need refuge against the dimming of the light
